This section provides information for facilities that use the 'Time Zone' feature in Sitelink and how to integrate it with the 'Schedules' feature of the StorAxxS Access Control Dashboard.

Understanding Terminology:

Sitelink "Time Zone" = StorAxxS "Schedules"
    These terms are interchangeable

1. Configure Time Zones in Sitelink

  • Create "Time Zones" in Sitelink.
  • Each Time Zone is assigned a two-digit code (00-99).
  • This code is passed to the StorAxxS Dashboard for scheduling.

2. Assign Time Zones to Customers in Sitelink

  • Customers can be assigned different Time Zones in Sitelink to control access schedules.
  • Most customers will be assigned the same schedule i.e. the Site Default Schedule

3. Create Matching Schedules in the StorAxxS dashboard

  • Create a StorAxxS schedule for every Sitelink time zone
  • Refer to the 'Create a New Schedule' section above for instructions
  • The access times in the StorAxxS Schedules must match the access times in the Sitelink Time Zones
  • IMPORTANT: Create a Site Default schedule (see above) that matches the Sitelink Time Zone that is assigned to the majority of customers.
  • IMPORTANT: Remember to include the Sitelink Management Schedule ID when creating the StorAxxS schedule (see image below) and ensure that is matches the two-digit code assigned to the corresponding Sitelink Time Zone. (e.g. "01").

Include the Management Schedule ID to link Sitelink Time Zones

The Management Schedule ID must match the Sitelink Time Zone two digit code

IMPORTANT: Remember to include the Sitelink Management Schedule ID and ensure it matches the two digit code assigned to the corresponding Sitelink Time Zone.

IMPORTANT: Remember to create a StorAxxS Site Default schedule that matches the Sitelink Time Zone assigned to the majority of customers.

Assigning Schedules to Customers

  • If a Site Default schedule has been created, then it will be automatically assigned to all active customers.
  • If there is no Site Default schedule or if a customer requires a schedule that differs from the Site Default schedule, then a schedule can be manually assigned to the customer's access permission.

Manually Assign a Schedule to a Customer

  1. Select Customers in the left panel of the StorAxxS dashboard
  2. Select a listed customer to display the Customer Details page
Customer Details page - edit access permissions
  3. Tick the checkbox to the left of the listed Customer access permission
  4. Select the Action button
  5. Select Edit Access
  6. The Edit Access Permissions modal will display
  7. Select the Schedule field
    Select Schedule
  8. Select a schedule from the list
    Select a listed schedule
  9. Select the Save button
