Restoring Access to Overlocked Customers in StorAxxS

This article details the steps to follow in Sitelink to provide a customer access to their unit that has been overlocked


Issue: When a customer is Suspended in SiteLink (e.g., for nonpayment), they are automatically Overlocked in StorAxxS, meaning they lose access to their unit. If onsite staff want to allow the customer to retain access due to extenuating circumstances, follow the steps below.


Step 1: Restore Access in SiteLink


  1. From the main SiteLink window, select Payments.
  2. Double-click on the customer whose access you want to restore.
  3. Select Ledger Settings.
  4. Check the box next to Never Lock Out at Gate.
  5. Click OK, then Yes, and OK again to confirm.


Within a few seconds, the Overlock should be removed from the unit in StorAxxS.



Step 2: Verify Access in StorAxxS


  1. Go to the Customers > Customer List in StorAxxS.
  2. Select the customer’s name to open their details.
  3. Navigate to the Access Control tab.
  4. Check the Door Control dropdown.


The status of the door should now be locked, meaning the customer has regained access to their unit.
