The Gates section lists the gates that are installed and controlled by the StorAxxS access system at the selected facility/site. Facilities may have one or multiple access gates and they can be configured for either entrance or exit purposes.
View the Gate list
The Gate list provides at-a-glance gate information, including the gate status (position) of either ‘Locked’ or ‘Unlocked’.
Any listed gate can be operated via the Door Status dropdown:
- Select the Door Status dropdown for the applicable listed gate
- Select Unlock to open the gate or Locked to close the gate

Create New Gate
- On the Gate List page, select the New button
- The New Gate page will display
- Complete the New Gate form
- Select the Save button

The Site Visitor Counter Type dropdown is only enabled if the Visitor Counter setting is enabled in the Site Settings. See the 'Navigating the Sites section' article for details.
View Gate details
Select any listed gate on the Gate List page to view the Gate Details.

- Gate Details: this section displays all the gate details and includes links to the site and PIN pad details pages
- Gate Control dropdown: the gate can be operated via this dropdown
- Activities tab: displays a list of logged gate operations and includes links to the details page of the customer or user who authorised the gate action
- Date range filter: use the date range boxes to filter the activities list
- Activity column: by default the Activity list only displays gate opening logs, however, users can select the Activity heading and choose to display additional logs such as closing and alarm related logs
Tip: select the 'Activity' column heading to select additional logs to display in the Activities list
Edit Gate details
- In the top right corner of the gate details page, select the Actions button
- Select Edit
- The Edit Gate page will display
- Edit any of the available fields
- Select the Save button
Delete Gate
- In the top right corner of the gate details page, select the Actions button
- Select Delete
- The Delete Gate modal will display
- Select the Delete button
