Navigating the Hubs section

These settings are only editable by users with organisation manager permissions or higher.

The Hubs section lists the Hub that has been installed at the site. Normally only one hub will need to be installed at a site, however, in certain circumstances, multiple hubs may be installed.

• The Hub is a small, internet connected computer installed at the site
• The Hub communicates with all the hardware at the site
• The Hub receives commands from the Admin User Dashboard and StorAxxS Customer App  and sends them to the applicable hardware device located at the site
• The Hub is vital to the operation of the gates, storage units, lockers, workspaces etc. at each site

View Hub list

Select Site>Hub on the left side menu to view the hub list.

The Hub list displays at a glance information such as the hub name, IP address and status.

Update Hub software

From time to time the hub software will require updating. The StorAxxS system includes a built-in updating tool.

Updating the hub software

1. Select the checkbox
2. Select the Action button
3. Select Update Software

The Device Firmware Update modal will display

1. Type in the software (firmware) version (this will be provided by StorAxxS)
2. Select Update

• The Hub will download and automatically install the new software. 
• A notification will appear on the screen when the update is complete.
• Typically the update takes less than 3 minutes to complete.

Storage unit door operation will not be available while the hub is updating

View Hub details

Select any listed Hub on the hub list page to view the Hub Details page

1. This section displays all the hub details including the status (online or offline)
2. The Devices tab lists all of the devices installed at the facility which are controlled by the hub

Edit Hub

To edit the Hub details:

• Select the Actions button in the top right corner
• Select Edit
• The Update Hub page will display
• Edit any of the available fields
• Select Save

Delete Hub

To delete the Hub:

• Select the Actions button in the top right corner
• Select Delete
• The Delete Hub modal will display
• Select Delete
