Multiple Customer PIN Codes

Customers with active storage unit bookings can have multiple PIN codes that can be used to access the storage facility. The codes are linked to their account and they can be configured to never expire or they can be configured with a start and end date. The codes can be shared with anyone and when used to access the storage facility, a gate activity record is logged that includes the PIN code description (nickname), date and time.

NOTE: providing a customer's guest with a PIN code will only allow access through the facility gate, unless the facility has enabled the "Unlock unit via PIN Pads" feature. If the feature is enabled, it will allow the guest to unlock the unit at the same time as the facility gate, using the PIN pad.

See "Using the PIN pad" in the Customer Onboarding Guide.
