Commissioning
From this point forward, repeat the following steps for each unit controller and lock pair.
Initiate Test
- Verify that the smart lock is connected to the unit controller.
- Ensure the LED on the unit controller is solid blue.
- Close the unit door so the magnets activate the reed switch, then wave in front of the unit controller to trigger the motion sensor. Triggering both the motion sensor and reed switch simultaneously will initiate the commissioning test.
- Once the test begins, the unit controller’s ambient light will flash, and the lock will start its home calibration.
- You’ll hear a whine from the lock, and if extended, it will fully retract.
- A few seconds later, the lock will extend, then retract again. When it retracts, open the door to deactivate the reed switch.
- The lock will extend one final time. When this happens, close the door to trigger the reed switch again.
- The lock will retract one last time, and within 1–2 minutes, the test result will appear in the installer app.
