Hub Issue Summary
Enhanced system reliability and operational control with critical fixes to unit controller communication and new administrative troubleshooting capabilities.
Resolved a critical issue affecting unit controllers at multiple production sites where motorized locks were physically connected but not being reported correctly to upstream systems. Unit controllers were successfully tracking their connected motorized locks locally, but a configuration generation defect caused the Hub and other upstream environments to reject these reports. This rejection triggered repeated controller restart cycles, preventing proper lock enrollment and disrupting normal operations across affected sites.
Unit controllers now receive appropriate interim configuration data that maintains stable operation while awaiting complete lock information from connected devices. This eliminates unnecessary restart loops and ensures controllers remain operational and responsive throughout the lock detection and enrollment process, restoring reliable communication between all system components.
Additionally, introduced a new administrative troubleshooting tool within the Hub to support faster issue resolution in production environments. System administrators can now apply temporary configuration overrides to individual unit controllers when diagnosing complex operational issues. These memory-only overrides provide a safe diagnostic mechanism that automatically resets on controller restart, preventing permanent configuration drift while enabling technical teams to quickly isolate and resolve field issues without requiring full firmware deployments.
